Plus the late Waldemar Bastos whom I was fortunate to see live in East Providence and New Bedford when he prepping for his first album on Luaka Bop records.
Yes the R8. Simple is the name of the game. Those are Eames drums- I nagged Chris to get those and he’s very happy he did. They are very melodious! That box on the organ is a “lunchbox” (boss organ) It lets you have nifty things like overdrive at low volume and great reverb (separate from the organ and through the Leslie) and eq…
I just have to comment again on how gorgeously badass that space of yours is Su! It’s funky glam and soul all in one. Very inspirational. And I love the story of Jackie Mac giving you a soft case- such sweetness.
I could live there quite comfortably.
There’s a really organic field to the studio. Great feng shui.
I did not realize Café played on so many albums! The late Nick Brignola, Joyce, Eliane Elias and so many others.
He was very in-demand when I lived in NY!

Very pretty home and studio. You know Cafe! I have him playing on a few cd's, one of which is the fine "Non-Stop To Brazil".
Loved the tour! We miss you!🥰

Heaven on earth. Gorgeously built and deceptively simple! Yes I want to visit you!!! You are one of a kind, Sue.
Thank you for the tour of your wonderful work space. Idyllic.
It truly is inspirational.

We are still mostly recording simply with a Zoom recorder, which sounds surprisingly warm and nice. We use Logic but it’s a learning curve for us.
Nice! Do you mean a Zoom R8 or R16? I use an R8, it's simple enough that I don't forget how to use it from one session to the next.
Gorgeous studio tour! Inspired! Cute pups too! 🐶
What a BEAUTIFUL space! Wow! And the strong chi of the Andes, not to mention the great coffee...Thank you for sharing this!
Thank you Mark....and you're so right about the coffee!
