OMG. It is an honor to inspire your writing any way any day, Su. Thank you for another spellbinding newsletter, on the multidimensions of Retrograde Motion. Loved the whole thing.
Su Terry, your time in Costa Rica has clearly cleared your head and opened a door to an abundance of riches. This, in my memory of your work, is a new high. I will have to study this, bit by bit, for a time, to glean all the knowledge and wisdom presented. And even then I may need some help. It is what great writing should be - something that requires the reader to work as hard as the writer. I congratulate you, and remain humbled by you. Thank you for putting in the time and the work.
Did you know that the Zapruder film has been edited online to omit the effects of the fatal gun shot to JFK's head? I do not know if this is so for the rest of the planet.
Really? I believe I've seen the original footage; very graphic. Then all that stuff about switching the bodies, and having the plastic surgeon alter JFK's skull on the plane...
Yes, I saw the original footage too. It is included in Oliver Stone's "JFK". I might have seen it elsewhere too. Then there was Dorothy Kilgallen's death and interview with Jack Ruby.
What is known as a CDJ, a professional CD player for DJs, will play backwards. Very useful, if not essential, for cuing. But now I must look for one of those Numark turntables that will play vinyl backwards. Would you care to supply the model number, please?
And, as a very minor aside concerning music and M. C. Escher, on the first Mott The Hoople album he is credited for the “Artwork [Cover Drawing]” although the presence of a pack of rolling papers in the illustration makes me wonder if he did the whole thing or was just responsible for the central concept. The album dates from what would have been the last few years of his life. I remember that his work was apparently everywhere in the late ‘60s/early ‘70s.
My life has entered the retrograde inversion cycle. Moving forward by dancing backwards.
Sometimes it's the only way.
Yes, this is sometimes.

“Returning is the motion of Dao.” (Daodejing) I learned a lot from this post.

Thanks Alk; this one took me a couple whole days to put together....but of course it draws on the research I've been doing for decades!

Ooooh, more rabbit holes to explore ;-)
Too many really.

TT200
Now discontinued, but there’s the Numark TTUSB and TTXUSB that appear similar but have digital connectivity.
