This is an audio track I made for an upcoming documentary that takes place in the Amazon. I'm playing a native Andean instrument called a rucupinkuyllo. It is an end-blown bamboo tube about 4 feet long. It doesn't have any finger holes, it's just a tube. The different notes are made by breath control. They’re based on the overtone series, a natural spectrum that's the audio equivalent of the rainbow. Santiago Cargua is playing percussion. I'm working on a whole album like this, with native flutes and percussion. Would you buy it?
